Another Friday has come and gone, and the fine folks over at Bioware have once again dropped some interesting information about Star Wars the Old Republic. In this weeks update we get a video look at crew skills, this includes things like gathering and crafting as well as the ability to have crew complete missions. I gotta say I’m really liking the crew system, it allows you some options when it come to some of the more mundane tasks of MMO games, if you aren’t a fan of gathering, just send one of your crew out to gather. Plus it seems crafting won’t be instant like WoW, but more time consuming similar to EVE Online training. And again to not make gamers spend countless hours crafting/gathering your crew will continue to work even when you are logged off, very nice! Lets hope we see some sort of web-based as well as iPhone and Android Apps that will allow us to control our crew even when not at a PC.
I don’t know about the rest of you but my thirst for more SWTOR is growing quite a bit as of late.
